L-Series Pro Lens
20% lighter than its EF predecessor, the design of this wide-angle Canon lens ensures the absolute best quality for videos and stills. The prime lens renders images with superb clarity, with further photographic enhancements available via the rear filter holder and a 67mm filter ring.

Speed, precision and sharpness are achieved via the multiple special lens elements, including an aspherical element, two US lenses with Super Spectra, SWC and ASC coatings and a Fast Nano USM combined with an even faster Voice Coil Motor*. Additionally, the fluorine coating on the top glass prevents dirt and oil from sticking, for a crisper final image.
